Since I got a carport for my house, Ive felt a lot more comfortable parking my car under it. It saves it from the weather for sure, and it does a great job making me feel safer and better.
I would rather have a carport than a garage because at least with a carport you dont have to close doors or anything and access in and out of it is great. Plus it protects your car from rain and snow too just easier.
